Corrosion Protection

  1. Will the electromagnetic corrosion module drain my car’s battery?
The module does not drain your vehicle’s battery. It only draws 1/3 of 1 milliamp to power the technology, which is 40 times less power than any other module in the market.

  2. Has the electromagnetic corrosion protection technology been tested and approved by independent, non-biased agencies or organizations?
Yes. The Performance Protection electronic corrosion protection module underwent extensive additional testing between 2002 and 2004 at the government’s request. The tests proved that the module reduces corrosion on automotive sheet metal panels by 98% to 99.7%.

  3. What do I do if the module light does not come on when I press the test button?
Check the module’s connections in your vehicle and the inline fuse. If the light still does not turn on, simply bring your vehicle back to your selling dealer for repairs.

  4. Why should I choose electromagnetic corrosion protection over traditional rust sprays?
The electromagnetic corrosion module protects areas of your vehicle that traditional sprays cannot. For example, it protects your vehicle’s frame, areas above the window line, seams and much more. Installing our electromagnetic corrosion module means you will never have to use rust sprays again. This is great for the environment too, as sprays contain harmful petroleum products that wash off into your surroundings.

  5. My car already has some rust. Will the electromagnetic corrosion module help?
Yes. The module will slow down the corrosion process even if there is rust present before installation. The module has been independently proven to reduce corrosion by up to 99.7%.

Exterior Protection

  1. How do I clean my vehicle after exterior paint protection or exterior paint enhancer has been applied?
Our recommendation is that you wash your vehicle by hand every two weeks if possible. Waxing is not required. If you’re using a car wash, we strongly recommend touchless car washes. We also strongly recommend the use of neutralized car shampoo.

  2. Can I wax my vehicle after exterior paint protection or exterior paint enhancer has been applied?
Yes you can, but it is not needed. If you are going to wax your vehicle, then use any non-abrasive carnauba wax.

  3. What should I use to wash my car?
We strongly recommend using any neutralized car shampoo that can be purchased at any automotive retail store. DO NOT use anything abrasive.

  4. If I am in an accident and my car requires new paint, do I need to re-apply exterior paint protection or exterior paint enhancer?
Yes. Contact your selling dealer and set up an appointment for reapplication. Before applying any paint sealant, please consult with a vehicle repair specialist to ensure that any new paint has properly cured prior to reapplication.

  5. What do I do when I get bird droppings, tree sap or insects on my vehicle?
Clean them off as soon as possible to prevent permanent damage. If permanent damage occurs, please contact your selling dealer to initiate a claim.

Interior Protection

  1. What do I do when I get a stain on my seats?
Try cleaning the stain yourself with hot water mixed with a mild detergent. If that does not work, return to your selling dealer to initiate a claim.

  2. I am a smoker. Am I covered for any accidental rips, tears or burns?
Yes. With our warranty you are covered for any accidental rips, tears and burns, provided you have purchased our interior protection. For any additional questions, please contact your selling dealer.

  3. How often should I clean my interior?
We recommend you vacuum and clean your interior fabrics/leathers on a regular basis.

Claims

  1. How do I initiate a claim?
Contact your selling dealer to initiate your claim.

  2. How do I know if the damage is covered?
Refer to the backside of your warranty or return to your selling dealer for help.

  3. I’m starting to see a little bit of red rust. Do I have a claim?
No. What has probably happened is that a stone chip or scratch has exposed bare metal, and it is now protecting itself. Simply apply some mild compound to a cloth and rub it off. Then apply some touch up paint to the unpainted surface so that it is protected again.
